“Hannah!” Gavin yelled, chasing after her as she quickly
rushed towards her Audi. She grabbed a small, black duffel bag from beneath the
spare tire in her trunk and tossed it onto the passenger seat. “Hannah, will
you stop, please?”

“Alright, then I’m coming with you.”
“No, you’re not. It’s too dangerous.”
“And how is it any safer for you?”
“It isn’t. But unlike you, I’ve had extensive training in combat, can you say the same?” she asked and waited for his response. “Like I said, get your family to a hotel. I’ll call you when I’m done.”
“Wait a second, that’s it? You’ll call when you’re done?”
