Chapter 01: A Game of Cat and Mouse

As Alexa settles into the Stark Mansion, she takes on a new case from the State’s Attorney’s Office that doesn’t go as hoped, so she takes matters into her own hands.

Chapter 02: Blown Away
Characters: Alexa, Gavin, Travis, Joan, Melissa, Dylan
After another tête-à-tête with Melissa, Joan invites Alexa out for some girls’ time with a outing of horseback riding. Later, the family make plans to take their yacht out but are met with a deadly surprise.

Chapter 03: Vital Signs
Characters: Alexa, Gavin, Kasper, Travis, Joan, Melissa, Dylan, Detective Benning, Detective Clarke, Nurse Jodi Harris
Gavin, having just gone through a harrowing accident, lives to tell the tale (and has a surprise announcement for his Mom). Later, Alexa is questioned by police about the boat explosion. Meanwhile, Kasper looks into a new case for a different client.

Chapter 04: Icarus
Characters: Alexa, Gavin, Kasper
Alexa heads to Kasper’s rescue but they hit a dead-end on the identity of the men holding him. Later, Gavin takes Alexa to a car show for his birthday and gets a very special gift and Alexa begins to realize her feelings for Gavin.

Chapter 05: Nightmares
Characters: Alexa, Gavin, Blaze Hughes, Detective Monroe, Echo Hughes, Gavin, Hondo Hughes, Melissa, Nolan, Olive Hughes, Tobias, Wolf Hughes
Alexa begins seeing the faces of her family while awake and starts to question why she stays in the business of revenge. Later, a mysterious man arrives in town in search of Alexa.

Chapter 06: Web of Lies
Characters: Alexa, Gavin, Kasper, Nolan, Tobias
A trip to the beach turns sour when a blast from Alexa’s past reappears. One of her ex-marks has tracked her down and is intent on making her new life hell.

Chapter 07: Every Picture Tells a Story
Characters: Alexa, Gavin, Kasper, Tobias, Melissa, Nolan, Judge Lynn Clark, Officer Miller, Philip Watson
Alexa returns to Gavin and finds him being a little overprotective. Meanwhile, Kasper is watching Nolan to ensure he is indeed on his way out of town. Later, Tobias tests the information he has on Alexa.

Chapter 08: Fight or Flight
Characters: Alexa, Gavin, Kasper, Tobias, Nolan
Alexa and Kasper plan their next move. Meanwhile, Gavin confronts Tobias about his blackmail of Alexa. Later, Alexa pays a visit to Nolan to try and smooth out rough edges and persuade him to leave town.

Chapter 09: Story of a Girl
Characters: Alexa, Gavin, Kasper, Tobias, Dylan, Ashley
Kasper and Alexa put their plan into motion to eliminate Tobias’ interference once and for all. Later, Gavin takes Alexa on a date to the movies. And after a naughty tryst in the men’s room, Alexa inadvertently stumbles upon the engagement ring Gavin bought for her.

Chapter 10: The Secret’s Out

Characters: Alexa, Gavin, Kasper

After hearing a call from the Client to Travis, Alexa reveals to Gavin that she knows about the blackmail letter and he comes clean. Later, Alexa accepts Gavin’s proposal but before they can celebrate, the peace is shattered by gunfire and Alexa realizes the client has grown tired of waiting.
